Cut the Silver Thread

The silver cord is a metaphysical link between the physical body and the astral/spiritual body, supposedly visible to those having out-of-body or near-death experiences. When this cord is severed, the individual dies. Presumably, this can only happen if something happens to the physical body. I'd assume a scythe is used to cut it.

This Scene's title references both this cord, and a certain ribbon seen on the title page.

I hope this Scene goes well. It's mostly just filler, really, a sort of follow-up from the events of the previous night. Which inevitably links to... well, you'll see.

The two characters involved aren't really that great, IMO. I know absolutely nothing about police, and I think it shows. So um... just endure.
